Novel Info

Since Caesar and Apocalypse, the master and servant, arrived at Magneto’s home as guests, deep within the mountains, in addition to the villa they previously lived in, another golden, magnificent pyramid had appeared not far across a mountain peak.

Magneto’s twin daughters, Wanda and Lorna, both took Apocalypse as their teacher. Apocalypse would use the summer holiday to teach them how to harness their powerful mutated abilities.

Caesar also temporarily stayed there. After all, the pyramid created by Apocalypse using mutant abilities contained hidden realms and was essentially a large ancient castle. As for their daily meals, they were provided by Magneto’s family, with Quicksilver acting as a delivery man.

A week passed in the blink of an eye.

Despite Caesar and Apocalypse having no real concept of time, they were unaffected. After all, Superman’s Kryptonian bloodline was naturally resistant to aging. As for Apocalypse, despite his age, he was thousands of years old, and even if he lived for another thousand years, he would never die.

Both of their genes were truly extraordinary and existed far beyond human capabilities.

This morning, the weather was cloudy.

A cool breeze blew, with dark clouds stacking up above the forest, indicating that rain might be coming.

However, at this moment, on the open-air plaza at the top of the pyramid, the people were completely indifferent to the weather.

“Master, I did it!” Wanda joyfully exclaimed, lifting her fair hands. A red mist-like energy formed within her body and spread outward, swirling as she controlled it with her hands.

“Good. After a week, you’ve finally managed to trigger it naturally.” Apocalypse, hunched over with his aged and slender body, nodded with a satisfied smile, resembling a kind and benevolent old man.

“I can do it too.” Lorna, puffing out her cheeks, stared intently at a metal sheet on the ground. Her hands were held in a loose grip as she focused hard, holding her breath.

Soon, the metal sheet floated upwards, spinning several times around her.

“Yay!” Lorna excitedly posed with a victory sign, then turned to Wanda, and together, they looked at the nearby altar, hoping for praise from someone other than Apocalypse.

On the altar at the top of the pyramid, Caesar sat with his eyes closed, resting. His cold and handsome face seemed chiseled from stone, with the wind flowing into his black cloak, making him look like a solitary eagle striving to reach the heavens, radiating an aura of unrivaled coldness.

His existence felt like the center of this world and the universe.

The two girls, who had just begun to control their mutated abilities, stared blankly at Caesar, unable to tear their eyes away from him. The magnetic and mysterious attraction emanating from him surpassed the ordinary emotional feelings between humans of different genders.

Unable to resist, Wanda asked in a soft voice, “Master, what exactly is Caesar doing?”

“Master says he is perceiving and absorbing the free energy from the universe. You just need to understand that this height, I’ve been seeking for thousands of years and still cannot reach it.” Apocalypse sighed repeatedly, and if there were a god in this world, he would be certain it was Caesar.

Even if Caesar weren’t the god, he could easily kill one!

Though he appeared human, he transcended everything, even common sense— this was Superman!

Vroom—

Suddenly, Caesar opened his eyes. As he awoke, his gaze inadvertently emitted two scorching beams of light, startling Apocalypse, who quickly moved Wanda and Lorna out of the way.

The two beams of light cut through the air, leaving deep, bottomless gouges on the pyramid’s open-air plaza floor. The beams continued outward, slicing a mountain peak across from the pyramid into three parts.

“This…” Wanda and Lorna were completely stunned by the spectacle. Even Quicksilver, who was on his way delivering lunch to everyone, was so shocked that he snapped to attention, staring at the deep, charred ravine beside him.

Ignoring the Earth’s gravitational pull, Caesar stood up from the altar and floated high into the air. His transparent eyes shone brightly as he clenched his right fist and slowly swung it toward the sky.

…

Boom!!!

Like thunder cracking from clear skies, Caesar’s punch caused the surrounding air to explode. The force of his punch spread through the air and didn’t stop. It surged forward like a flood breaking through a dam.

Vroom—

The thick clouds that had been accumulating over the forest in the outskirts, spanning several dozen kilometers, were directly shattered. The gloomy sky instantly turned clear, and the bright, radiant sunlight poured down without obstruction, bathing the pyramid below in its warm glow.

“This… is too exaggerated…” Quicksilver gaped, his mouth wide enough to fit an egg.

“Just now, that was merely the master’s ordinary punch, without using full strength.” Apocalypse, however, wore a knowing smile, gently shaking his head. If Caesar had used full strength, even with Apocalypse present, both Wanda and Lorna, standing nearby, might have been injured by the shockwave.

Under the almost divine gaze of Wanda and Lorna, Caesar descended back onto the altar platform. There was a hint of confusion in his eyes, and he sighed helplessly.

Another failure.

Over the past period, Caesar had grown tired of absorbing energy to increase his power. Instead, he began trying to explore and contemplate the possibility of breaking through the constraints of space and time.

At first…

He had broken through the confines of the Marvel Universe by using Ant-Man’s technology, accessing the quantum realm, and accidentally arriving in this X-Men universe.

Since it was possible to come from there, there was no reason why he couldn’t return!

Now, without the Pym Particles, Caesar couldn’t access the quantum realm again, and he couldn’t use the microscopic method to break through space and time.

But did that mean it was impossible to break through the constraints of this universe’s space and time on a macro scale?

Caesar had been pondering this question for the past several years, occasionally discussing it with Apocalypse. He had ultimately reached a conclusion: with enough powerful strength, it was possible to break through the power that constrained this universe’s space-time.

Though he had reached a relative conclusion, the process of verification was immensely difficult.

Caesar felt he was already strong enough. After throwing a punch, he sensed the possibility of breaking through space and time. However, it remained only a feeling, unable to truly break through the non-existent space-time. He could only shatter concrete objects in the real world.

“It still feels like there’s something missing. What could it be?” Caesar furrowed his brows, sitting cross-legged and sinking into prolonged contemplation.

Meanwhile…

In a classroom at the Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.

Due to Storm being unavailable, Jean, who had to temporarily substitute as a teacher, smiled and gestured to the girl beside her, dressed in a teacher’s suit. “Alright, please introduce yourself to the class.”

“Hello, everyone, my name is Shirley! I’m the new student, please take care of me.” The beautiful girl in a white jasmine flower dress, with a small dimple on her fair face, stood at the podium and gave a slight bow.

The freshmen below immediately broke into enthusiastic applause. Many of the male students couldn’t hide their excitement. They knew they could never win Jean’s heart, but this new girl was very attractive, and she could easily become the class’s belle.

“Shirley, do you have a boyfriend?” A male student, confident in his good looks, immediately raised his hand to ask.

Amidst a chorus of boos from the other students, Shirley smiled slightly. “No, but I already have a crush, so I’m sorry.”

Seeing the morale of the male students plummet, Jean couldn’t help but laugh and gently asked, “Who’s your crush?”

Shirley blinked and answered directly, “Superman, Caesar.”
