Chapter 2081: Chaos Within the Heavenly White Tiger Clan(2)
“Bai Xutao!” Bai Ning exclaimed in a terrified voice after seeing his body fall from the sky.
“Do you even have time to worry about others?” Yuan blocked her from attempting to approach Bai Xutao again.
“You! Do you have any idea what you have done?!” She shouted at him. “To attack us in the middle of the Heavenly White Tiger Clan’s territory, you’re extremely foolish! Once our elders arrive, you’ll regret attacking us!”
“I’ll deal with that when the time comes.” Yuan smiled before continuing his attack.
Meanwhile, Feng Yuxiang went to catch Bai Xutao’s falling body. She caught him by the leg and dangled him like a butchered chicken.
“Wake up.”
“…”
Feng Yuxiang used her True Primordial Fire to wake him up when shaking him didn’t work.
“Ahhh!” Bai Xutao immediately woke up screaming.
“Welcome back. Are you ready to continue?” Feng Yuxiang asked with a sadistic smile on her face.
“N-No! Please! I’m sorry for what happened before! I swear I won’t ever approach you again!” Bai Xutao begged.
“You think I’m doing this just for myself? I’m also acting for those who never had the strength to seek justice!” Feng Yuxiang laughed coldly. “We’re just getting started, so don’t you dare die on me too soon!”
Bai Xutao’s agonized screams returned, echoing like a curse in the ears of all who heard them.
Eventually, the elders and true powerhouses of the Heavenly White Tiger Clan arrived at the scene, only to be struck with shock and terror at the sight that awaited them.
Bai Ning, their number one genius of the younger generation, was being tossed around like a rag doll by a mere human Silver Immortal.
As for Bai Xutao, they failed to recognize him at first. Feng Yuxiang’s flames had reduced him to a scorched husk: naked, hairless, and with every inch of his skin charred black.
“What in heaven’s name is going on here?!” one of the elders snapped, his 2nd-level God Ascension cultivation erupting forth. The surge of power flooded the area with immense pressure, instantly bringing Yuan and Feng Yuxiang to a halt.
“E-Eleventh Elder! We’re being attacked! These are the bastards that nearly killed Bai Xutao when he went to the lower heavens!” Bai Ning revealed to them.
“What!? Surround them!”
Thousands of Immortals surrounded Yuan and Feng Yuxiang at the elder’s command. Yet, neither of them appeared worried in the slightest, almost as if they had the situation under control.
Yuan then spoke, speaking directly to Bai Ning, “I guess you don’t have what it takes to defeat me, after all.”
“Shut up!” The Eleventh Elder roared.
He moved toward Yuan and demanded, “Who the hell are you? Why are you attacking the Heavenly White Tiger Clan? Do you even realize who you’re dealing with?”
Yuan replied calmly, “Of course I do. Your ancestor was one of the Nine Divine Supremes who once served the Immortal Monarch. But so what? That was long ago. You hold no ties to him or his legacy now, so stop waving around a title that no longer means anything.”
“Blasphemy!” Bai Ning roared.
“Then let me ask you this… Do you know who I am?”
“You’re a nobody who tried to claim to have ties with the Immortal Monarch! I was foolish to have believed you!”
Yuan looked at her and smiled, “Do you still have what I gave you at the Pavilion of Knowledge?”
Bai Ning’s body trembled the moment she was reminded of the vial of blood. Retrieving it with shaky hands, she exclaimed, “Whose blood is this?! It’s definitely not the Immortal Monarch’s!”
She had revered this vial of blood ever since she acquired it, but now, realizing it was a fake all along, she was shaken to the core.
“If you think it’s fake, why don’t you hand it back to me?” Yuan extended his hand toward her.
Bai Ning instinctively drew her hand back as if to throw the vial away, but her motion froze halfway, hesitation clearly written in her eyes.
“Immortal Monarch? What nonsense is this?” the Eleventh Elder sneered.
He motioned toward Bai Ning and barked, “Hand me that vial!”
Bai Ning hesitated once more, a flicker of doubt in her eyes, but eventually released her grip and passed the vial to him.
Once the vial of blood was in his grasp, the Eleventh Elder didn’t even bother to check it and immediately crushed it, destroying the vial and the blood within it.
Bai Ning felt a gripping pain in her heart after seeing this, even though she knew it was fake.
“What a waste…” Feng Yuxiang shook her head with an exaggerated sigh. “Do you have any idea how many beasts would kill for that blood?”
“Silence!” the Eleventh Elder roared, his voice thundering across the valley.
After a heavy pause, he continued coldly, “For the crimes of attacking the Heavenly White Tiger Clan and attempting to deceive us with the Immortal Monarch’s name—I hereby sentence both of you to death!”
“How scary.” Feng Yuxiang chuckled, still treating their situation like it was a joke.
“Young Master, what should we do now?” she then asked him.
Yuan turned to the Eleventh Elder and asked calmly, “Where is your Clan Leader?”
The Eleventh Elder sneered with disdain. “You really think the Clan Leader would appear for two insignificant nobodies?”
Yuan swept his gaze across the tens of thousands of Immortals encircling him, then said coolly, “Then, until your Clan Leader shows up, let’s keep playing.”
After saying these words, Yuan activated True Dragon Awakening, causing his aura to skyrocket.
The moment they sensed Yuan’s overwhelming aura, the surrounding Immortals instinctively backed away, their faces pale with fear and bodies drenched in cold sweat.
Bai Ning’s eyes widened, and in that moment, she finally realized just how vastly superior Yuan had been all along.
“So it’s finally time to get serious, huh?” Feng Yuxiang muttered as a sphere of flames appeared around her, rapidly expanding and engulfing her figure in a blazing aura.
When the flames subsided, Feng Yuxiang was no longer in human form. In her place stood a majestic phoenix wreathed in golden fire, radiating immense heat and awe-inspiring presence.
