2409 Is This My True Self?
The fear of memory loss is profound, as memories are not just data but a vital part of our emotions and soul. The ball, having forgotten everything, was left bewildered, unsure of its origin, purpose, and even its location.
“Why am I here?” it wondered while rolling aimlessly through the secret realm. It felt an innate need for a goal, a quest, a crucial task, but its memory provided no answers.
“What’s happened to me?” The ball rolled on while pondering its existence—a question crucial to its very soul and emotions. It felt incomplete, as though it was searching for its ‘main body’ or a missing piece. This instinctive hunch suggested it was seeking its ‘main body’ or ‘missing part,’ hence its presence in this strange place.
“Yes, that must be it,” the ball resolved, finally discovering its life’s purpose. And so, confident that it would recognize its target upon encountering it, it continued rolling through the realm.
Rolling endlessly, it eventually entered a peculiar space. “Residual power of time? And… has someone been here before?” the ball mused, though how it knew about ‘time power’ was a mystery even to itself.
In this space, devoid of the dangers of time’s power, the sphere began to search. Despite lacking eyes or nose, it sensed the world through a special system and picked up familiar scents from past inhabitants.
As it rolled, collecting and reconstructing these scents, fragments of information began to form. First, an unfamiliar woman appeared, but deeper analysis revealed more. Eventually, the image of a black-haired man emerged, with a face capable of speaking!
“It’s him! The one I’ve been looking for!” the ball realized excitedly. This man was its missing part or its main body. Finding him would restore all it had forgotten. It would be the first step to completing and perfecting it.
“How wonderful to have found my true target so quickly. I’ll soon find a way to reach you, my missing part or main body,” the ball declared joyously, convinced the man was also searching for it. It envisioned surprising him with its sudden appearance.
But first, it had to escape the secret realm, a labyrinthine challenge. “No worries, I have all the time I need,” the ball reassured itself as it rolled off to find the exit.

Meanwhile, Song Shuhang shivered unexpectedly. “What’s wrong, Senior Song?” Soft Feather asked.
“I think some big shot just tried to track me using divination,” Song Shuhang replied while pressing down on his mask that could disrupt heavenly secrets and interfere with divination attempts.
“I’m okay, the cultivation chat virus alarm didn’t go off. They haven’t tracked me,” he reassured, then closed the Inner World.
“Be cautious. If the entity that followed your ghost spirit fairy into the secret realm was indeed the fat ball, it might have emerged already,” Pavilion Master Chu warned.
“I’ll keep an eye on the Inner World. If it starts showing signs of fear, we’ll be ready,” Song Shuhang agreed.
“Let’s go find Senior Su Clan’s Seven for a meal. Afterwards, we’ll continue exploring the Su Clan,” Song Shuhang proposed.
“Are you searching for something specific, Senior Song?” Soft Feather inquired.
“Partly, but mainly I’m looking to make some extra money,” Song Shuhang replied earnestly. He hoped to find a significant figure of the Spirit River Su Clan he met in a dream.
“I’ll join you in your search this afternoon. What kind of place are you looking for, Senior Song?” Soft Feather’s curiosity was piqued.

Elsewhere, Senior White, Sage Monarch Seventh Cultivator of True Virtue, and Xuan Nu Sect’s Skylark were busy in a laboratory when Immortal Fairy White Bones appeared suddenly.
“Eh? Where am I?” White Bones Immortal Fairy asked, confused.
“Eh?” Senior White looked up at her. He sensed a fated treasure in this unfamiliar fairy maiden.
“White Emperor Scripture,” he noted.
